Yes, we do provide a home visit service after receiving an initial enquiry. However, we will not normally provide a home visit service outside of Essex, Cambs, Herts, Suffolk & East/North London. [Depending upon the scale & intricacy of a proposed project we may extend this area further afield.]

No. All our lifestyle and custom design & bespoke furniture is made in the UK at our manufacturing facility at our offices on the Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden, Essex.

No, the entire BLOK Life range is manufactured & delivered fully-assembled.

The people behind BLOK have been manufacturing furniture for over 25 years. Our Managing Director is a third generation furniture maker.
 
We combine this expertise with our UK factory to provide an efficient & affordable custom design and bespoke furniture service.

We can produce solid wood furniture, however we specialise in high quality veneered wood furniture. We use a wide variety of veneer options, including mostly "real wood" veneers, however we also occasionally use very contemporary engineered & dyed veneers for specific effects.

We believe that all BLOK furniture represents fantastic value for money. We offer a high quality "designer" product, at a price point that is significantly below the high street equivalent.
 
Naturally, price will depend upon exact requirements, but we are committed to building unique quality furniture at a price-point that makes the world of bespoke and custom furniture more accessible.
 
Unlike other bespoke furniture services, we do not have an expensive fleet of agents, glossy marketing brochures, and salesmen to pay. This business model allows us to pass these savings directly on to the customer.

All the glass components we use in our furniture is toughened safety glass conforming to British Standard BS6062A. The recommended weight tolerance of our 10mm safety glass shelves is 50Kg & the recommended weight tolerance of our 15mm glass shelves is 100Kg.
