"The BLOK Story"

BLOK was founded by Managing Director Simon Gavin in 2004.  BLOK began life as a specialist manufacturer of audiovisual furniture, but has since expanded to include a range of lifestyle furniture [BLOK Life], and a home-visit custom design and bespoke manufacturing service [BLOK@Home] that provides a wide range of custom furniture & storage solutions to homes and businesses throughout Essex, Herts, Cambs & Suffolk.

Simon has actually been designing & manufacturing furniture for over 25 years, and is a third generation furniture manufacturer. It is these increasingly rare "old skool" manufacturing skills that elevates our standard furniture above the competition, and enables BLOK to produce quality custom & bespoke furniture under the BLOK@Home service.
