BLOK@Home specialises in designing & manufacturing fitted & free-standing furniture for the Dining Room, Living Room, Kitchen, Home Offices, Home Cinemas, Walk-in Wardrobes, etc. In addition, BLOK@Home can devise and produce innovative storage solutons for books, CD/DVDs, vinyl & audiovisual equipment.

All furniture is designed & manufactured at our own workshop on the Audley End Estate in Saffron Walden.

The BLOK@Home service is flexible and adaptable to your individual needs, preferences or requirements. We can produce furniture in either a contemporary or traditional design, with custom colours, gloss finishes, special heights & dimensions, exotic woods such as Macassar Ebony & Zebrano, specialised in-laid veneer finishes, etc.

The people behind BLOK have been manufacturing furniture for over 25 years, and we can combine this expertise with our UK factory to provide an efficient & affordable custom design and bespoke furniture service. Our cabinet-making & traditional veneering background means that we can build just about anything from reproduction antique cabinets with inlaid veneers or marquetry to the sleek contemporary style modern furniture that is synonomous with the BLOK brand. This is how "BLOK@Home" works:

Send us an email [or phone] with your requirements. [This can be just a basic outline guide, a detailed sketch or even just an idea. It's up to you!] Within 24 hours we will respond, and within 48 hours we will make an initial free telephone/email consultation to clarify your requirements. Then, within five working days, we will respond with a draft sketch & graphic illustration and a price quote.

If you live within 30 miles of our offices in Saffron Walden we will arrange a home visit to discuss your requirements.

We will work through the design proces with you every step of the way until you are happy with the proposed design & materials.

Confirmed orders enter production on receipt of a 50% deposit. Completion and delivery is between four & six weeks [depending upon requirements] from receipt of the deposit, with the balance payable prior to dispatch or install. [Items will be delivered/installed as appropriate.]

In terms of cost, we expect you will be pleasantly supplied with just how affordable the "BLOK@Home" service is. Naturally, the price will depend upon exact requirements, but we are committed to building unique quality furniture at a price-point that makes the world of bespoke and custom furniture more accessible.

Unlike other bespoke furniture services, we do not have an expensive fleet of agents, glossy marketing brochures, and salesmen to pay. Our business model allows us to pass these savings directly on to the customer.
